We offer free and paid creative-reuse programs and events that are accessible, affordable, inclusive, and sustainable.
Our programs are designed to build a safe, inclusive third-space for people of all ages and skill levels to come connect and create; to offer creative-reuse art and craft materials that most of the community can afford; to collaborate with creative members of the community to teach and expand skills without breaking the bank; to help minimize the damage to our environment, our mental-health, and our creative spirit.

We accept monetary donations and creative-reuse materials. We’re compiling a full list of items that we can accept, and while we do that, we hope you’ll consider donating to our mission, our resnack station, and/or our summer craft camps.

The recraftTyler & co. board is made up of five incredibly talented and intelligent women in education, psychology, wellness, design, and artisan fields. Each member brings a passionate drive and unique perspective to what it means to build an inclusive community through accessible and sustainable materials. Their individual drive for creative expression and desire to share and utilize that expression to create a safe and creative third space in Tyler, TX is the force behind recraftTyler & co.’s growth and success.
With decades of experience in education from elementary through college; the psychological and sociological effects of community, therapy, and art; the inherit need to water the mental-health and wellness desert of our local, marginalized and indigenous communities, the commodity of authenticity in brand expression, and the honesty and integrity of creating something out of nothing with your own two hands, makes recraftTyler & co.’s board a powerhouse of doers!
